Suggested Books

Hello all.

I'm new to ASP.NET and I'm looking for a book to help me get going here.

I will be doing ASP.NET using VisualSudio.NET.

Can anyone recommend a good book that covers the two together?

- JStephen Walther's book "ASP.NET Unleashed" by SAMS is a good one.

The first edition is released. I have it.

Suggestions on Learning ASP.net

I have little more than batch script experience.

How do I learn ASP.NET? Any good books, classes? Where do I start?Hi Chad,

The best way is to download and install all the .Net Framework stuff as well
as Webmatrix.

After you've learned all you can from the tutorials here, start making your
own little pages. As you gain knowledge and confidence, you may decide you
don't need a book.
